Pass Christian, Mississippi has long enjoyed a rich Mardi Gras history. While the earliest parades noted in the history of Pass Christian, Mississippi were held annually from 1914-1922, the St. Paul Carnival Association (SPCA) was not established until 1930.  The founders began SPCA in 1930 as a means to raise funds for the benefit St. Joseph School and the Sisters of Mercy who taught there. The SPCA's philantrhopic activities have continued year after year, later benefiting the newly established St. Paul Catholic School and today, benefiting St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School.  St. Paul's Carnival Association, Inc.
